In this vlog we start our Asian bucket list adventure travelling from London Heathrow to Hong Kong on Singapore Airlines . As we have an early start with a 9 o’clock take off time we stay overnight at the Hilton Garden Inn (terminal 2) located at Terminal 2 it is a short walk to check in, so no taxi’s required. Although we originally booked the wrong Hilton Garden Inn not realising there were two hotels of the same name at the airport, confusing or what! A 14 hour Premium Economy flight to Singapore, a 1.5 hour layover before our second flight (3.5 hours) to Hong Kong. An airport pickup had been arranged to take us to our hotel, 45 mins away. All that and an 8 hour time difference, this is going to be a mega long travel Day, the longest we have done as a couple!! We made a bucket list of places we want to visit and Steve’s choice was Asia, he loves the continent, enjoys exploring the culture and landscapes. So we booked a cruise with Celebrity Cruises adding on some hotel days at the start and end of the holiday to explore Hong Kong and Singapore. Neither of us have been to the places on this itinerary previously. So on this adventure we explore on our own and we also take ship excursions to maximise our time and experience.
