A Month in the life of a Nomad - One crazy spontaneous unplanned month

After sitting in a Coffee Shop in KL we remembered we didn't reply to our Goddaughters RSVP for her Wedding. We had no intention of going and plan our travels a year ahead of time. This would have fell betwen our stay in Bangkok and our stay in Chiang Mai. But could we do it. We could get one of us on Emirates First Class with points and one of us had to pay so we booked the flight and made a change. Stephanie (the Bride to Be) kindly allowed us to confirm our RSVP late and our plans changed. We, of course, stopped in Dubai for a few days and stayed at the Grand Hyatt Dubai again. It's a great Hotel and has a super new lounge. Helen contacted Sophia from My Story to Tell (M.Y.S.T.T) and made sure she was wedding ready. We cleared out our Storage Unit in Dubai, never again, visited the Dubai Aquarium and headed back to Stansted. We took a tour of our hometown of Leicester and stayed at the Marriott Leicester while visiting Abbey Park, Melton Mowbray and the Great Central Railway where Helen re lived her childhood. We also went with family to the Diddly Squat Farm and the Farmers Dog for a great British Pub meal. It was time for the wedding and we took our newly tailored clothes to the Belfry and had a great time at the wedding at Moxhull Hall. Congratulations to Stephanie and Callum, it was a great day and thanks for the invite. We then went to Manchester to see Arley Hall, which despite Thomas Shelby blowing it up in Peaky Blinders it is still there. We also popped in to see Harry Styles in Holmes Chapel, but did we see him? It was time to get back on schedule and take our epic 40 hour journey from Manchester to Bangkok via Dubai, we then had a short 90 minutes in a hotel before we caught the Special Express No 9 train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. We got to our AirBnB in Chiang Mai and finished the month off with a trip to the Cinema, a ride on the Anantara Chiang Mai Dinner Boat, Elephant Parade and Elephant Nature Park. And then we were back on schedule.
