Hi we are James and Helen and we are Global Nomads. We are a pair of British Expats that decided to retire in our early 50’s to travel the world full time. In 2004 we left Leicester in England to live in Davenport Florida and set up a Flower Shop. We brought our 2 Rottweilers along for the ride and they had a great life in the sun. Through all of the trials and tribulations that involves (Recession, COVID, Hurricanes, Inflation and everything else) in 2023 we sold that flower shop, our house and our car to become nomadic. We are team carry on and Helen also has an autoimmune disease which makes walking, doctors, bloodwork and prescriptions part of our considerations. In April 2024 we set off with 10 million credit card points and the money we had saved to become Global Nomads. We plan to use the credit card points to travel until they run out and will then start to spend our money on accommodation.

If visiting Cataract Gorge, combine the walk with the boat trip to see both sides, but consider the shorter boat trip if you want to save money.
Use a Jacuzzi tub as a washing machine if you need to do laundry while traveling.
Check for a bathtub shelf if you enjoy reading or using an iPad while bathing.
If visiting Australia, bring a standard non-voltage conversion adapter as travel adapters might not work with local sockets.
When visiting the Penguin Parade, upgrade to 'Penguin Plus' for a much better view.
Dress in layers when visiting the Great Ocean Road due to high winds.
For the Penguin Parade, do not use phones or cameras as the light sensitivity affects the penguins.
