Welcome to Day 3 of our Alaska adventure aboard Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam! Despite the rainy and dreary weather, we had an amazing day exploring the charming town of Ketchikan. We started our day walking around town and delving into the history of Creek Street, the former red light district. Next, we attended the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, where we had a blast watching the skilled lumberjacks in action. At the suggestion of a cruising friend, we stopped by Arctic Bar for a quick drink before heading back onboard for an early sail away. Our day concluded with a delicious dinner at Pinnacle Grill, the ship's renowned steakhouse, where we savored an excellent meal.
