Day 5 aboard Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam brought us to the beautiful and historic port of San Juan, Puerto Rico! 🏰 We started our adventure with a visit to Castillo San Felipe del Morro, immersing ourselves in the rich history and stunning views of this iconic fortress. Wandering through the vibrant streets of Old San Juan, we stopped for lunch at the birthplace of the Pina Colada to sip on the famous cocktail and enjoy delicious Puerto Rican cuisine. Back aboard the ship, we dined in the Main Dining Room, where the food and service were not bad this evening. After dinner, we enjoyed a few laughs at the World Stage theater with a comedian, and capped off the evening with Holland America’s signature “Chocolate Surprise” event—front-row seats included! 🍫 Don’t miss this jam-packed day of history, flavors, and sweet treats.
