It’s our final port day aboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady, and we’re making the most of it with a tour built for craft beverage lovers. Docked in St. Croix, we joined the Brew & Rum Tour, starting at Leatherback Brewing Company’s main facility. We had previously visited their taproom in St. Thomas, but this time we got the full experience — a brewery tour and samples of several of their island-brewed beers. Next up was a visit to the Captain Morgan Distillery, where we explored the visitor center and sat down for an in-depth presentation on how this iconic Caribbean rum is made. Of course, the tour wouldn’t be complete without sampling several of their unique blends and flavored rums. Back aboard Valiant Lady, we enjoyed our final dinner at Razzle Dazzle, one of the ship’s signature restaurants, before sitting down to talk about our overall experience on our first Virgin Voyages cruise.
