This episode is packed with bucket‑list moments, incredible views, festive vibes, and plenty of must‑see locations for anyone planning a trip to New York City. We start our day wandering through Battery Park, admiring the architecture before heading to Castle Clinton — the historic sandstone fort that now serves as the official ticket office for the Statue of Liberty. After a scenic 20‑minute ferry ride, we arrive at Liberty Island, where we climb up to the pedestal observation deck for breathtaking views of Manhattan and Lady Liberty herself. Inside the Statue of Liberty Museum, we explore fascinating exhibits, including the original torch and a detailed cutaway model of the statue. On the return ferry, we pass Ellis Island, where over 12 million immigrants entered the United States — a powerful and historic moment. Back on Manhattan, we head to the Seaport District, wander the festive Christmas stalls at Bryant Park, and take in the bright lights of Times Square. The evening continues with magical views of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, the Saks Fifth Avenue light show, and a cosy stop at O’Conolly’s Irish Bar. The next day, we visit Grand Central Terminal, ride up to the Top of the Rock for stunning skyline views, and stroll through Central Park. We also stop by famous landmarks including Trump Tower, the Louis Vuitton façade, and the Plaza Hotel from Home Alone 2. Our adventure continues along the High Line, Little Island, Pier 54, and Hudson Yards, where we see the impressive Vessel. We finish the day with great food, drinks, and a meet‑up with a friend at Jack Doyle’s and the Liberty Bar.
