"Ventura" & "Saga Sapphire" depart from Southampton - 02/11/2012

Friday 2nd November saw two cruise ships in Southampton Docks. The first of these was P&O Cruises's "Ventura" docked at the 'Ocean' Terminal who's destination is the Caribbean for the winter returning in March 2013. The second ship was Saga Cruises's most recent addition, "Saga Sapphire" docked at the 'Mayflower' Terminal. "Saga Sapphire" was originally booked to depart at 16:00 with "Ventura" at 16:30. However, "Saga Sapphire" was late departing and both ships cast off their moorings at around the same time. In this video we first see "Ventura" as she eases out from the 'Ocean' Terminal prior to heading off down the River Test and to the warmer waters of the Caribbean. Then we see "Saga Sapphire" passing the Town Quay at dusk on her way to the Canaries and North Africa returning on November 14th.
