YouTube Video Description↓

Friday night, we flew up to Fairbanks for the weekend. We ended up going to Sonic for ice cream and mozzarella sticks before going to bed. Saturday morning, our first stop was the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. It was a truly spectacular museum and we even got to watch a film about the science behind the Aurora Borealis. Next, we found a local brewery and had a flight and some lunch. A small used bookstore was an intermediate stop before we made our way to Pioneer Park. It was very interesting and held some really cool artifacts and history of Fairbanks and greater Alaska. Ursa Major is a Fairbanks distillery, and if you're ever in town looking for some exceptional craft cocktails at a really great price point, I definitely recommend checking it out. The Library Bar & Bites was where we met with Jessica and Lance Violett (link to channel below). It was a cool place, but sort of pricey and didn't have a ton of food options. I'd go back for drinks but I would find dinner elsewhere. Our last stop of the day was another local brewery. It was a great day and I made some wonderful memories.
