Welcome to day 4 on our Alaska cruise where our port of the day is located in beautiful Sitka, Alaska! When visiting Sitka by cruise with Holland America you dock outside of the city center and take cruise provided shuttles into town. These shuttles are only about 5-10 minutes drive from where you are dropped off at the Harrigan Centennial Hall; which is a great place to start your Sitka adventure! We didn't book a formal excursion at this port so we enjoyed a walk through down town, did some shopping, found the Baranof Castle, aka Caslte Hill, and took the harbor walk that brought us to a great playground for our kiddo! Once we got back onto the ship we grabbed lunch at the Lido Market and our son went back to kids club.
