Creator's Key Takeaways

Honestly, I would 100% recommend coming here if you're in Argentina. It's just incredible.

Do both. I think is really the the short answer.

Is it worth the price tag though? Okay. Helen mentions the price. ... Absolutely not.

It's just incredible. If we haven't even seen the other side yet. If you have seen Niagara, I mean, this dwarfs Niagara.

Do both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the falls.

YouTube Video Description

Today we finally reached somewhere we have been trying to get to for over 20 years, Iguazu Falls. We thought we would do it in style so we decided to take 3 days and stay at the falls at the Gran Melia Iguazu. The hotel is all about the location and you pay the price. The furniture is dated and the rooms are small but you are next to the falls, and that is why you are here. It was raining when we arrived so we went to the Brazilian side the following day. We have a UK passport so don't need a visa to enter Brazil, check with your local office but US citizens do need a visa which can slow the whole process up. It also makes it practically impossible to visit both sides in one day. You have to line up at immigration to leave Argentina and to enter Brazil you have to leave the vehicle to be stamped in. The Brazil side consists of one route and has an elevator at the end next to the Devils throat. The rest is a walkway running opposite the falls which gives you spectacular view. The Argentinian side has 3 routes (upper, lower and train to the Devils Throat). All have spectacular views from different angles. Which should you do, well both of course. We preferred the Brazilian side but everybody had their own opinion. You are in a National Park so plenty of wildlife to see including Monkeys, Coati and Toucans. We also visited Tres Fronteras where you can see Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay in one view. #iguazufalls #Granmeliaiguazu #granmelia #tresfronteras #travel #globalnomadtravel #worldtraveller #worldtravel #slowtravel #digitalnomad #digitalnomadlife #retireearly #retireearlyandtravel #financialindependenceretireearly ireearly #digitalnomadlifestyle VIDEO CHAPTERS 00:00 Introduction 00:46 Gran Melia Iguazu Deluxe Junior Suite Room Tour 07:34 Crossing from Argentina to Brazil 09:10 The views 09:50 We could have gone on a boat or helicopter 10:56 The Coati 11:34 Have you seen these falls before 12:05 Tres Fronteras 13:06 The Argentinian side and the upper loop 14:55 The Devils Throat loop 16:39 The lower loop 17:58 You are going to see animals 20:05 The humans go in the cage, not the animals 21:19 Bring Sunscreen and Bug Spray 22:29 Bring sensible footwear 23:00 The cost to enter the Argentinian side and the differences 26:50 Which side should you see 28:25 The Gran Melia Iguazu 34:58 Thanks for watching Amazon Water shoes James: https://amzn.to/46KgkNK Water shoes Helen: https://amzn.to/46Njsbz Phone Case: https://amzn.to/47BJ6QO Our Links Airalo: https://airalo.go.link/3ofAz Wise: https://wise.com/invite/irhc/jamesr1487 Nord VPN: https://refer-nordvpn.com/SYNYUNhtBvN The Credit Cards we use Chase IHG - https://www.referyourchasecard.com/210f/TKV3WX6T1X Chase Sapphire Reserve - https://www.referyourchasecard.com/19q/VBEDZ1CISQ Chase Ink Cash-https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21s/N6TMLHSOZO Chase Ink Preferred-https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21s/ZQ3MXA7I5Y American Express Marriott Bonvoy https://americanexpress.com/en-us/referral/marriott-bonvoy-business-american-express-card?ref=JAMESRvkWi&XL=MIANS Chase freedom Helen-https://www.referyourchasecard.com/18J/5WH3HLPBBJ CHASE SAPPHIRE Helen - https://www.referyourchasecard.com/19q/NC0JNHUYDH CHASE INK HELEN UNLIMITED- https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21s/FRWQQ7W3IE CHASE INK HELEN PREFERRED-https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21s/TV8PBGDBGA CHASE INK HELEN- https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21s/LKK2JZIE2A Our Contact https://www.facebook.com/GlobalNomads93/ https://www.instagram.com/globalnomads93?igsh=emg1ZzkybnJyOXZv Email: globalnomads93@gmail.com
