PortAventura Halloween 2025 | Salou Spain Travel Day | Hotel Gold River

Hi everyone! Today's video is our travel day to #salou Spain. We flew from Manchester airport to Reus after some good food and a drink at Giraffe. It was a great quick flight and then we made our way to the first spot on this trip - #portaventura Hotel Gold River. We stayed here for the first few days of our holiday at Hotel The Callaghan's. We had a very early flight which meant we had made it to the hotel before 10am. We saw a lot of people making their way towards the park so we weren't sure if it had opened early and made our way to the queue. We were allowed in at 10:30am through the hotel entrance to the Far West. The immersion and theming really is something else! We didn't get to do the ride Uncharted last time we were here so we thought that should be the first ride of the day and well... you'll see how that goes! haha maybe one day we will get to ride it! After the amount of time lost in the queue it took a little bit to pick ourselves up but after going to the Sesame Street land SesameAdventure and getting some food, a beer and watching the halloween show we felt a lot better. It was then time for our first ride of the day Furius Baco, such a good thrilling ride. You definitely get thrown around more on the edge seat! We had a good walk around the different worlds - Mediterrània and Polynesia which was very relaxing! It was then time for another ride this time, Shambhala. This was an amazing ride as always but even more so this time as it was a personal win for Laura! Time for some treats a Mars ice cream and a yarda of Estrella which is always a fave! We had then booked to do two of the scare mazes La Muerte Viva and Rec. We really love PortAventura over Halloween! We also saw a few scare actors out and an unexpected show in Mexico which we enjoyed. We then made our way over to get a seat for the Halloween Birthday Parade. We managed to get a good view and I'll put the full parade up in another video, we did think it was shorter than last time we saw a Halloween parade but think it was because we watched it on a Tuesday this time. The park was then starting to close so we made our way back to the Far West to go back to Hotel Gold River. This was a great experience and we loved our first time staying on resort! We had another explore around the #goldriver grounds and were so impressed. Our room at Hotel The Callaghan's was amazing and this part of the hotel was impressive, smelled amazing and we would love to stay again! We liked the choice of food, good burger, pizza and chips was all we wanted this day with some lovely sangria! We went to the Lobby Bar but found there wasn't really any entertainment on for the adults after the Woody Woodpecker show earlier so we decided to have an earlier night to prepare for another fun filled full day the day after! We had an incredible first day, it was amazing having a travel day going straight into a full day at PortAventura!
