A Bronx, New York woman tested positive while on a Royal Caribbean Cruise vacation. The positive test came two days into the ceiling, after Royal Caribbean let her on board without being vaccinated. The passenger, Laura Angelo, claims RCL gave her the wrong bracket at embarkation. The bracelet she claims she was given was intended for vaccinated passengers. When RCL realized the mistake, they activated safety protocols which include an immediate re-test for Covid-19. After testing positive her luggage was packed and wrapped in plastic and she was escorted off the ship by crew in hazmat type suits. During her eviction from the ship, Angelo made quite a scene…. At one point touching as much of the ship as she could. Of course this could be seen as intentionally spreading the virus, if her test results were in fact positive, which she disputes.
