We arrived in Hong Kong, I have a short nap before going out to explore the Avenue of Stars. This popular promenade along Victoria Harbour includes cinema sculptures and tributes to the great and the good of the Hong Kong cinema. Nightly there is an awesome light show, the symphony of lights, utilising the harbour buildings. Brightly lit boats reflect with the buildings in the waters of Victoria Harbour to create an superb atmosphere and experience. This area incorporates high end retail stores, kiosks, small bars/restaurants, a culture centres and an Edwardian clock tower the last remanent of the station that once stood on this site. We made a bucket list of places we want to visit and Steve’s choice was Asia, he loves the continent, enjoys exploring the culture and landscapes. So we booked a cruise with Celebrity Cruises adding on some hotel days at the start and end of the holiday to explore Hong Kong and Singapore. Neither of us have been to the places on this itinerary previously. So on this adventure we explore on our own and we also take ship excursions to maximise our time and experience.
