I've just come back from an overnight preview of the brand new Cunard cruise ship Queen Anne ahead of it's maiden voyage. I dashed around the ship for 24 hours trying to capture as much of this classy, elegant ship as I could. This video covers a LOT of the ship, including its pools, promenade deck, deck games and fabulous full-size pickleball court as well as its classic, sophisticated interiors, from its new Grand Lobby design to its drawing room and library (this is a sophisticated ship after all!) and the new 'Cabinet of Curiosities' - part museum with archive pieces and part display cabinet. There are replicas of the royal jeweler Garrad's pieces they made for former Queens and Princesses, from Princess Diana's engagement ring to tiaras made for Princess Catherine and the late Queen. The video even features a bellhop - I really love the whole Cunard heritage and tradition. This is one classy ship. I was extremely lucky to stay in a Queens Grill suite and this video looks at my cabin (omg the bathroom is divine as is the massive balcony) as well as the exclusive restaurant that Queens Grill suite guests get to dine in. The food was SENSATIONAL!! Every bite was delicious and I was very greedy, selecting every single course so that I could try everything out. Also featured is me meeting the amazing female Captain - how nice that a ship called Queen Anne which honours an iconic Queen should have a female at the helm! Her name is Inger Thorhauge and she hails from the Faroe Islands. And lastly this video looks at the ship's entertainment from a big band to string trios to the ship's fabulous production of Noel Coward's play Brief Encounter in the snazzy new two tier theatre. And after all that I boogie the night away in the classy Queens Room to the sounds of a DJ. All in all, this was an amazing (if not hectic) 24 hours, but I'm looking forward to going back on the ship for an actual cruise early June so there will be more coming on this fabulous new ship so do subscribe to my channel to see the new videos as they come out!
