Creator's Key Takeaways

we stayed overnight in halong Bay which was beautiful absolutely gorgeous and you can see why it is I believe a UNESCO site it's it's absolutely magnificent

the best thing in there that I thought was the um had a coal mine um obviously it was a mock coal mine yeah um because it was on the second floor as well on the second yeah it was the second uh or third no third cuz we went to we did we went the the opposite to everybody else we went up to the third floor and worked our way down

it made quite a touching exhibit it was interesting to go around and look and to understand some of the personal uh grief and some of the personal feelings that the people on the ground would have experienced

the Pagoda that we're going to is the long time Pagoda which is the biggest Pagoda in heong city and it's situated at the foot of the beo th mountain

About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Descriptionโ†“

This is our second day in Ha Long Bay and we are doing the Panatomic Tour. We start with a different perspective of that fantastic seascape, taking in the iconic rock formations and the local fishing industry. It is then a short journey to a local museum where we meander through a replica coal mine, see historic fashions, musical instruments and also look at items that bring home the human impact of the Vietnam war. It is then a short journey to the foot of Bai Tho mountain to the largest Pagoda in Ha Long and observe a religious ceremony taking place. It is then a short wander to the local market which sells ironmongery, fresh food and flowers before returning to the ship for our sail out of the bay. We made a bucket list of places we want to visit and Steveโ€™s choice was Asia, he loves the continent, enjoys exploring the culture and landscapes. So we booked a cruise with Celebrity Cruises adding on some hotel days at the start and end of the holiday to explore Hong Kong and Singapore. Neither of us have been to the places on this itinerary previously. So on this adventure we explore on our own and we also take ship excursions to maximise our time and experience. Our next vlog series will focus on Joanneโ€™s choice of location, which may surprise you, but youโ€™ll have to wait for that one. We're never too old to keep exploring, so please join us.
