Join us for Episode 6 of our Queen Mary 2 Eastbound Transatlantic Crossing as we take you through another full day aboard Cunard’s iconic ocean liner. In this vlog we start out on deck to catch QM2’s famous midday horn before heading to King’s Court to explore the lunchtime buffet in detail. From curries, carvery roasts and salads to noodles, sushi, gluten‑free options and a whole celebration of cheesecakes, we show exactly what’s on offer during a typical sea day. With passports in hand, we make our way to the Britannia Restaurant for the compulsory immigration check before heading back to the Mareel Spa — one of our favourite places onboard and well worth the full‑voyage pass. Later, we stop by the Terrace Bar for those unbeatable wake views, take a wander through the Grand Lobby for a quick dressed‑up selfie, and enjoy pre‑dinner drinks before another fantastic evening in the Britannia dining room. The night continues in the Royal Court Theatre with The Sounds of London, featuring classics from Elton John, Phil Collins and more. Afterwards, we head to the Commodore Club — our favourite bar on Queen Mary 2 — for a late‑night drink in those elegant, forward‑facing surroundings. To finish the evening, we attempt a stroll on the Promenade Deck… until the heavens open and the weather has other ideas. It’s all part of the transatlantic charm.
