In Episode 3 of our Royal Clipper Review, we arrive in the stunning town of Sorrento in southern Italy. We have entertaining, magical tender rides, explore this amazing destination and sample some local cuisine and entertainment. We discuss life on board this full rigged sailing ship and show you around the fully equipped Gym and Spa on board. Our next stop is Amalfi and includes more about life onboard this magnificent ship, including putting the sails up and swimming into the sea directly from the ship. We spent a week on the largest Full Rigged Sailing Ship in the wold Royal Clipper. It was a week we will never forget! We sailed around the Amalfi coast and Sicily from Civitavecchia near Rome, to the Pontine Islands, Ponza and Palmorola, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naxos (for Taormina), Lipari, and Gaeta before heading back to Civitavecchia. We sailed on Royal Clipper in July 2024. We paid £2350 for 7 nights in a Catagory 6 cabin which also icluded flights from Heathrow to Rome.
