Ketchikan is the last port of our amazing Alaskan cruise!!! And today we have a really fun tour planned! Something completely different than we have ever done here… we are taking a Zodiac boat tour to see some wildlife!! This was booked with Ketchikan AdventureVue and the link is below. We meet up with our tour in downtown and take a 30 minute scenic drive out of town to an old cannery where our Zodiacs await. These are small tours! We only had 4 people! And we could have driven our own boat if we wanted but I wanted to relax and so we rode with our guide. This was SO MUCH FUN!! The small boat glided over the water and we saw seals and eagles and really enjoyed the whole ride. Upon arriving back there were snacks waiting for us! You could choose from a beer flight, wine tasting or a custom soda flight accompanied by sausages and cheese… yum!! On the way back to town we stopped off and saw bears!! And once back near the port, I took Sophia for a walking tour down to historic Creek Street before getting back onboard Holland America Noordam.
