I woke up to stunning scenery sailing into Isafjordur, Iceland on the Norwegian Prima, only the second time that NCL Prima has been to Isafjordur as the port dredging project that took a few years longer than anticipated finally completed just a couple weeks before my cruise! Although the scenery was beautiful, the weather wasn't... but it didn't matter because I was going on my excursion regardless! I booked a 3.5 hour Viator excursion to visit the Dynjandi waterfall, and it was incredible. I battled the elements to climb up partway to see the incredible landscape and rushing waterfall. Such a picturesque place, and I'm sure in good weather it would have been even more incredible! But I still enjoyed every moment. After the excursion, I spent some time in the spa, then headed to the VIP cocktail party, followed by a delicious dinner at Nama Sushi and then some Karaoke time with new cruise friends! All in all, a wonderful second day on this 10-day SOLO cruise! I am already pretty sure this cruise will be at the top of my favorites list.
