About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

Last night we anchored in Lock Na Keal, a sheltered Loch. This morning we take a short trip to Ulva a lovely quiet island where all you can hear is the sounds of nature and experience a truly beautiful landscape. We take the Glen Tarsan to the Isles of Staffa, a small volcanic island known for its sea birds and Fingal's cave. Fingal's cave is a majestic sea cavern surrounded by hexagonal basalt columns, with incredible acoustics. Unfortunately due to concerns about the tender we can't go in, so we don't drop anchor but admire from afar. Next it is Iona with its abbey, nunnery and superb little craft shops . We then sail to Gometra where will anchor overnight, on the way over we have a superb dolphin encounter as a pod of large dolphins escort the boat playing as they lead the bow of our boat. Join us as we go out of our comfort zone on a small cruise ship, The Majestic Line, going around the inlets and islands of the Isle of Mull. In this adventure we take a converted herring trawler and are one of ten guests experiencing a very different type of cruising. See the scenery and wildlife we experience as well as the various towns and locations we go to. There is no set itinerary instead the skipper will be deciding where we visit dependent upon the weather, currents and other factors.
