About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

On this trip Steve and Joanne cruise through the Panama Canal, one of man''s largest and most difficult engineering achievements, a man-made waterway that divides North and South America. A series of canal locks raise and lower ships in to Gatun Lake and provide a crossing between the Pacific and Atlantic. By maintaining the fresh water in Gatun Lake it provides a unique eco system making a fascinating and interesting rain forest. This makes it one of our bucket list vacations. So come with us on a holiday of a lifetime as we traverse the locks, go into the rain forest and visit interesting ports in Columbia, Costa Rica and Mexico on the Emerald Princess one of Princess Cruises older ships. In this episode we are in Huatulco, Mexico. Join us as we go on a Land and sea tour that takes in the rugged coastline of the 9 bays that make up this region as well as some views looking down on the Emeral Princess, the Huatulco ubiquitous letters and a couple of nice churches. This is a tremendous and intimate port with a sandy beach and crystal clear sea. We also saw a couple of whales during our journey.
