About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

The Central-Mid-level escalator provides a great way of exploring the raw Hong Kong. It provides an essential means of traversing the steep hills and gives easy access to the area South of Hollywood Road (SOHO) supporting the development of its' urban culture and businesses. On the way up we pass the site of the former Victoria Prison and one of the oldest Mosques in Hong Kong as well as being able to observe the local street life. We then continue the Man Mo temple which was absolutely fascinating. En route to Art Lane we find Antique street with its antiquity stores and street market vibe making a great place to shop for curios from a variety of cultures and also Hollywood Road Park with it's pond and Chinese accents. Finally we get to Art Lane where there is some great street art spread over a couple of roads. Then it is time to make our way back to the hotel and on the way we find a wet fish market and divert to Causeway Bay, so Steve can nab a camera bag. We made a bucket list of places we want to visit and Steve’s choice was Asia, he loves the continent, enjoys exploring the culture and landscapes. So we booked a cruise with Celebrity Cruises adding on some hotel days at the start and end of the holiday to explore Hong Kong and Singapore. Neither of us have been to the places on this itinerary previously. So on this adventure we explore on our own and we also take ship excursions to maximise our time and experience. Our next vlog series will focus on Joanne’s choice of location, which may surprise you, but you’ll have to wait for that one. We're never too old to keep exploring, so please join us.
