Here’s the scoop on cruise disembarkation

I always do self assist, which means I can get off the ship at any time, but I have to take care of my own bags.

If you have mobility issues or just don't want to deal with your bags, you can follow the disembarkcation schedule posted by the cruise line.

Sometimes the early groups go fast, so if you have an early flight and or need off pretty quickly, you'll want to grab your tag as quickly as possible because once they're gone, they're gone and you may end up stuck in a later group.

This is another reason I prefer self-s. I've had some really early flights and I need to be off that ship ASAP.
