Cruising the Fjords | Cunard Queen Anne Vlogs | Episode 5: Olden, Norway Welcome to Episode 5 of our Queen Anne Norwegian Fjords cruise series! 🚢 Today, we're exploring the charming port of Olden, Norway—a spot we absolutely love. Whether it's your first time or your fiftieth, Olden never ceases to amaze with its stunning beauty and easy-to-access excursions. In this episode, we start by sharing our experience with the Thermal Suite onboard, which we pre-purchased for $199 per person for a full cruise pass, including a 50-minute massage. For our Olden excursion, we opted for a relaxing ride on the land train. It's the perfect way to take in the breath-taking scenery while learning about the area’s rich history. The best part? You won’t miss a photo op—there are plenty of stops along the way for those incredible fjord views. After our excursion, we soaked up some sun and cooled off with a dip in the pool. The weather was unexpectedly hot, which made the pool all the more inviting. As we prepared to leave Olden, Captain Hudson announced a change in our itinerary due to incoming bad weather. Instead of calling at Haugesund tomorrow, we’ll be treated to a scenic sailing along the stunning Hardangerfjord. While we’re sad to miss Haugesund, we’re excited for a day of fjord cruising! Of course, no departure from Olden would be complete without a festive sail away! Locals waved us off and we couldn’t resist joining in the fun. Later, we dined at Tramonto, Queen Anne’s new Mediterranean specialty restaurant. For $18 per person (plus a small supplement for some elevated dishes), we enjoyed a fantastic meal. Finally, we wrapped up the night with one of Cruise Monkeys Luke's favourite cruise activities—a silent disco! If you haven’t tried it yet, you must. It’s the perfect way to let loose and have some holiday fun! Thanks for joining us on our Olden adventure!
