YouTube Video Description

Welcome to episode 4 of our P&O Iona Cruise vlog series, today we are in Lisbon. Our first port of call on this P&O Iona cruise was to the port of Lisbon. We spend some time walking around the city, have the compulsory Portuguese Custard Tart before making our way back on board Iona where we spend the afternoon next to the pool. As we arrive and leave Lisbon we pass under the Ponte 25 de Abril, or the 25th of April bridge which only has a few meters clearance. For our evening meal, we head to Sindhu, a firm favourite of ours. We also spend time at the Sky Dome before having a boogie in the Club House. We hope you enjoy following along with us on our cruise adventures! We love cruising with P&O and now that we have sailed on Iona it means we have sailed the whole fleet again! Our last cruise was on P&O Britannia and we've already got our next P&O cruise planned, this time on P&O Aurora! We also cant wait to get a cruise booked on P&O Ariva! We also have a full P&O Iona review which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/AqGwkdfk_0I We paid £489pp for a balcony cabin and booked with https://www.facebook.com/MartinsHolidayVillage/ - We also took out the P&O Ultimate Drinks Package for this cruise which costs £39.95pp, more info on the drinks package can be found at https://cruisemonkeys.com/po-drinks-packages-explained Support us: Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/CruiseMonkeys Merchandise - https://store.cruisemonkeys.com/ Music: Epidemic Sounds - https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/tpb2vz/ About P&O Iona P&O's Iona was designed to invite the outdoors in. Gazing out from the stunning SkyDome, three-tier glass Grand Atrium or the brand-new Conservatory Mini-suite cabins, you're never far from a spectacular view of the ever-changing horizon on Iona's cruise holidays. Iona is the greenest member of the P&O fleet and the first British cruise ship to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). As an Excel class ship, she has a host of unique features including an on-board craft gin distillery, spectacular aerial shows and an Infinity Pool with breathtaking panoramas. P&O Iona entered service in 2021, the 184 thousand tonne Iona has a normal operating capacity of 5,200 passengers. P&O Iona is sister ship to P&O Arvia. --- About Us We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby, they may not be to everyone's tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times we've had, so please keep this in mind – we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone in our spare time. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board. We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails). Make sure follow us on social media, the links are below.
