Quantum of the Seas: Inaugural Martinique Arrival & Departure (with NCL Pearl) on December 6, 2014

The Quantum of the Seas made her inaugural call to Fort de France Martinique on December 6, 2014. She arrived at 9AM after a long sailing along the islands coast. Upon arriving the Norwegian Pearl's funnel was already visible over the near by fort as she had arrived about an hour earlier. The Pearl departed at 5PM and sailed past us on the way out to sea. At 6PM when the Quantum was set to depart the crowds were gathered once again along the coast to catch a glimpse of her as the many churches in the area sounded their bells for 6PM and then continued to ring them for 5 minutes in honor of her.
