It was our first time in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. We were so excited to visit Victoria, and especially for our Afternoon Tea experience at The Fairmont Empress. Our ship did not get into port until noon, but we disembarked soon after we were given the all clear. We took a taxi from the port, which dropped us off right at the Parliament building. Since we had some time, we leisurely walked around and enjoyed the beautiful views and the warm sunshine. Emma needed to stop at a pharmacy, so we found one before our reservation for Tea. Our afternoon tea experience at The Empress was utterly, completely flawless. The tea was delicious, the food beautiful and well prepared, and the ambiance was comfortable and luxurious. After tea, Emma went back to the ship to rest, while mom and I walked down Government Street to Chinatown, stopped at a brewery, and then walked back to the ship. We made it back just in time for dinner. After dinner, we got in the hot tub to end the night.
