Creator's Key Takeaways

The flight was great. Little turbulence, but not bad. No. And it went pretty quick, I thought.

We were fortunate enough that they had a room ready that they were able to stick us in. And so $25 extra dollars gets us into the room early.

I'm so happy for them all to get to go on their last. You know, they're thrilled. I am for them.

Creator's Tips & Advice

YouTube Video Description

It's our travel day! We left the house early and made it to the airport in time for our nonstop flight on Alaska Airlines to Seattle. We took an Uber from SeaTac to our hotel, the Homewood Suites Downtown, where we were able to get an early check-in for only $25! After settling into the room, we walked around the corner to Queen Anne Beer Hall for lunch, and WOW what an amazing experience. Then Emma went back to the hotel for a nap while Mom and I walked to Pike Place Market. On the way, we made a quick stop in at the Olympic Sculpture Park and got a glimpse of the Norwegian Bliss at Pier 66. Pike Place Market was incredible. The sights, sounds, smells, and everything that was available for purchase! We were quickly overwhelmed by all the people - and everything else - so we left and walked to Cloudburst Brewing where we had some delicious hard ciders. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Bang Bang Cafe for coffees and watched the Norwegian Bliss sail away. Once back at the hotel, I walked to the corner store for tonic water and lemonade for Mom and Emma. We had pizza delivered for dinner, and then it was bedtime. What a long but marvelous travel day!
