About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

In Hong Kong City the skyscrapers tower over you. So we decided to take a trek and view Hong Kong from a totally different perspective. Victoria Peak rises 1800 feet above the city and is a major tourist attraction, known for its fantastic views over the city. We make our way there using public transport finding a couple of interesting locations as we seek out the bus stop. A bus ride to the peak and then we explore the Peak Galleria, The Lion Pavilion, walk the Peak Circular Route, take the escalator up to the Sky 428 terrace and on the way we meet some lovely people and a wild boar. The Peak Tram takes us back to the city and from there it is a short walk to the Hong Kong Park. This park is very unlike the ones we are used to in the UK, less wild open green and more carefully sculptured and manicured spaces and best of all it is entirely free. We made a bucket list of places we want to visit and Steve’s choice was Asia, he loves the continent, enjoys exploring the culture and landscapes. So we booked a cruise with Celebrity Cruises adding on some hotel days at the start and end of the holiday to explore Hong Kong and Singapore. Neither of us have been to the places on this itinerary previously. So on this adventure we explore on our own and we also take ship excursions to maximise our time and experience. Our next vlog series will focus on Joanne’s choice of location, which may surprise you, but you’ll have to wait for that one. We're never too old to keep exploring, so please join us.
