Come with me as I visit the legendary Troy, cities built on top of each other over centuries, slowly excavated to bring to light stories from so long ago that we don't truly know what happened all those years ago! I took a tour through the ruins on my day docked on the Azamara Pursuit in Canakkale, Turkey. After the amazing tour I spent some time walking around the city center of Canakkale and saw a few landmarks before heading back to the ship for a relaxing afternoon by the pool under the beautiful sunny blue skies. We had an early sailaway which meant we were able to clearly see Gallipoli and the war memorials dedicated to the fallen soldiers from the battle in WW1.
