YouTube Video Description

This is a quick video on how to walk to two of Cabo San Lucas's favorite beaches. Playa Publica (Public Beach), also known as Playa Empacadora (Cannery Beach) and Playa Coral Negro (Black Coral Beach), is within a half a mile of the tender dock. The directions are at the end of the video. Playa Medano is about a 1 1/2 mile walk around the harbor. Both beaches are nice. Playa Medano is a 2 mile long stretch of beach lined by hotels and bars. Playa Publica is about 600 feet long (at high tide). There are no hotels or bars there, but does have outhouses. Both beaches are very clean and not very crowded. The water at Playa Public seems clearer, but I think that is because Playa Medrano has bigger waves stirring up the sand. There are water taxis to Playa Medano if you don't want to walk but, you need to be able to get in and out of a small boat. I think they cost about $5 - $10 p/p. They will try to fairly hard to sell you a tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach for an additional cost. We hope you enjoy the videos and your next cruise. Please Subscribe to our channel, Port Monkeys.
