Welcome to our Queen Mary 2 Vlog, Part 3! Our daily account of our third day on board Queen Mary 2 during her mini break to Belgium Nov 1-4 2019. We begin with breakfast in bed, followed by a visit to Sir Samuel's for some Godiva Chocolate, then a brief wonder through the Cunardia exhibition. After a light lunch at the kings court buffet we venture out on deck where we give you feedback of our mornings experiences before wondering the decks and heading up to the Pavilion pool. we then walk an entire lap of QM2's Promenade deck (by time-lapse) before heading to the commodore's cuff links prior to the ships departure from Belgium. We have caught the captains announcement, the ships horn blast and the sail away party all on video. We finish our cruise off by having a meal at the Verandah steak house and watching a show before arriving back at Southampton. Since uploading this video we have learned that the Boston Cup was presented to Samuel Cunard AFTER Britanniaβs Maiden call to Boston as the cup was not quite ready in time. We have also learned that the cup has not resided on Every flagship of the Cunard fleet this has only become a relatively recent tradition. --- About Us We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora. We like making videos of our cruises, they may not be to everyoneβs tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times weβve had, so please keep this in mind β we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone. We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. On a cruise you will normally find us wondering around the ship taking in the atmosphere (and working our way through the cocktails). Make sure follow us on social media, the links are below.
