The number one absolute favorite thing we had on this trip was the croissants at Le Marquee Sangluten. It's the dairyfree pastry that will blow your mind with this flaky, buttery flavor.

Montreal Gluten Free Food Guide: 10 Best Bakeries & Restaurants (Dairy Free Friendly) Visiting Montreal was filled with gorgeous French Canadian culture, including some amazing food. In this video, we are taking you along to 10 specific stops we made in Montreal for gluten free and dairy free treats. We start with places that offer a gluten free menu in addition to their regular offerings and then move on to some truly incredible 100% gluten free restaurants and bakeries you simply have to try. We cover everything from the best dairy-free croissants we have ever tasted to hearty sandwiches in the Old City. Whether you are Celiac, gluten intolerant, or just looking for healthier options, this guide covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course, dessert. Here are the 10 Montreal Food Spots we visited: DoughNats: We pre-ordered from their Gluten Free and Vegan selection to get Nick's favorite baked donuts. L'Usine de Spaghetti: Located in Old Montreal, this spot has great gluten free pasta options for a nice sit-down dinner. Shnoopi: A perfect lunch stop for hearty sandwiches on bread that is definitely not tiny. Cookie Stephanie: Known for grilled cheese and vegan options, this is where we got a safe Apple Maple birthday cake for Asher. Bistro Modavie: For a classic French cafe vibe with live music, we loved their salmon and trout with skinny frites. Tapi Go!: A 100% Gluten Free spot serving Brazilian-style tapioca sandwiches and yucca fries. La Bolo a Lolo: A newer shop with shelf-stable groceries and frozen entrees to take home. L'Artisan: The sleeper hit of the trip with rare finds like gluten free dumplings and wontons. Le Marquis Sans Gluten: Our number one pick for the trip. The dairy free almond croissants here are as big as your head. Marche Jean Talon (Creperie du Marche): A massive open-air market where you can find 100% gluten free savory and sweet crepes. Menus change. Cross contamination happens. Always advocate for yourself with the staff to make sure your food is safe for your specific needs.
