2 DAYS IN ROME, Italy 🇮🇹 Travel Guide Vlog - Colosseum, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, Sistine Chapel

We went on a Disney Cruise!!!!!! I hope you enjoy this series of Disney Cruise Line vlogs!!! We explore Europe by ship!! Disney Magic 8 Night Mediterranean with Greek Isles Cruise June 2022 European Cruise The Disney Med cruise itinerary was: Day 1 - Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy Day 2 - Messina Sicily (Taormina) Day 3 - At Sea Day 4 - Mykonos, Greece Day 5 - Santorini, Greece Day 6 - Athens, Greece (Piraeus) Day 7 - At Sea Day 8 - Naples (Pompeii), Italy Then Day 9 we debarked and explored Rome and Vatican City It's Day 9 and it's time to explore Rome! We start off in Rome after having just checked into the hotel. We are staying at Hotel Tritone which is on Via del Tritone - it was extremely well situated. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Rome, it was very central. I give you a tour of the room - it was very big! We go straight to the Spanish Steps via the Spanish Square. We then head onto the Rome metro on the train straight to the Vatican. We see Saint Peter's Square in Vatican City. We're a little early for our Vatican Museum tour so we head to a cafe for a drink and then walk to the Castel Sant'Angelo. I let you know the rules you need to follow to enter the vatican such as clothes over your knees and covering your shoulders. Then it is time for our Vatican tour! It was 3 hours around the beautiful rooms and galleries. We see paintings by Raphael and Michelangelo, School of Athens is in there. We go through the Gallery of Tapestries, Gallery of Maps and then finally it leads you to the Sistine Chapel. You're not able to take pictures in there but it was stunning! Then at the end of the tour you go into St Peter's Basilica. The most incredible church I have ever been in. It was stunning. After the tour we went to a restaurant for real authentic Italian Pizza! It was delicious. Simon and my Dad have huge pints of beer! I tracked fown the Hard Rock in Rome and picked up a Rome pin for my collection! We head back to the Rome hotel and I finish my vlog in the exact same place I start in the next day! We head to breakfast in the hotel as it was included and really good actually! I show you how easy it is to get to the Trevi Fountain as we are literally 2 minutes from the trevi fountain. We lose my parents in the souvenir shops along the way! We get to Trevi fountain again and do our 3 wishes again after it rained last time! I show you That's Amore where we ate before the cruise and then we get some italian ice cream. We then get on the Rome underground to take us to the famous colosseum! We had a Colosseum arena tour booked with Crown Tours. It was so interesting, I let you know a load of fact that our tour guide is telling us all about the colosseum. How big it is, what it used to look like, how it used to be. We stand on the arena floor then walk up to the top and imperial stands. We then go to Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. We see Rome's first arch, a Roman church, the market and see the point where all roads lead to Rome. After the tour it's time for some more Italian food! We head to Ciao Bella for lasagnes! best lasagne ever! Then it's time to head back to the hotel and we head to Rome airport the next morning. I hope you enjoy coming along with us!!! Equipment used.
