Join me as I spend a day ashore in beautiful Sète, France, while sailing on the elegant Crystal Serenity. Crystal is known for its exceptional service, refined atmosphere, and all-inclusive luxury, making it one of the world’s most celebrated cruise lines. Our shore excursion begins with a scenic boat trip through Sète’s canals, often called the “Venice of Languedoc.” We then enjoy a guided walking tour of the town, with its charming streets, vibrant markets, and rich maritime heritage. The highlight? An oyster tasting at the local market. Sète oysters are harvested from the nearby Thau Lagoon, one of the most famous oyster-producing areas in France. It was my first time trying oysters… and let’s just say, I wasn’t entirely convinced! As a cruise content creator, I’ve sailed on over 65 cruises across 20 different cruise lines.
