YouTube Video Description↓

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Illulissat is home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sermeq Kuljalleq glacier (also known as Jakobshavn), one of the fastest and most active glaciers in the world. Scientists think the berg that sank the Titanic came from this glacier. The Sea Explorer visit here had two parts; A zodiac cruise in the morning; and walk around town and to the boardwalk leading to an overlook of the glacier. Breaking bergs are often so large (1km/.6 miles HIGH) that they are too tall to move down the fjord and stick to the bottom of shallower areas for years. Mega impressive...
