In this video we leave the Holiday Inn Express Southampton M27 Junction 7 (what a mouthful!) and board a Cunard ship for the first time. We were captivated by QM2 as soon as we stepped onboard. She has a distinct atmosphere to go with her Art Deco decor and styling but, despite common assumptions, she's not difficult to navigate and the dress code *before 6pm* is as casual as you'll find anywhere. After 6pm, most dining areas require smart dress or evening dress on Gala Nights but there are always alternatives for anyone who doesn't like to dress up. Unfortunately, Cunard do not allow any recording during the entertainments so I can only use stills. That's a shame because the entertainment was very good.
