Creator's Key Takeaways

We got to go backstage, which was really exciting. We got to meet kind of Ethel, the organ that lives at El Capitan.

This was exclusive for ABD that they were there for us today. Yes. So that was very, very cool to see.

It was a really nice surprise. They also had water bottles laid out. They had blocked off all the seating in the store.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Go to El Capitan on a weekend to hear the organist play.
Don't expect to see everything at the Academy Museum in 75 minutes.
Check restaurant websites for happy hour specials as they may not match what is offered in person.

YouTube Video Description

Day 2 of our Adventures by Disney trip dives deep into some Disney history in many aspects from the theater to the barn and a special lunch in between!! We started our day with private tours of the El Capitan theater and the TCL Chinese Theater, both of which hold some historical significance to Disney! After our tours, it was time to head to lunch, but first a quick visit to Walt’s Barn in Griffith Park…full of so much Disneyland history and Walt’s love of trains! We then enjoyed a special lunch at the Tam O’Shanter…a favorite lunch spot for Walt and his animators nearby the original location of the Walt Disney Studios! After lunch we had a quick stop at the Academy Museum before heading back to our hotel for an evening on our own…BUT the guides surprised us with an exclusive ice cream social at Ghirardelli!!!This day was such a busy day full of some highs and lows, but it was a great way to see so much of Hollywood!! Be sure to tune in next week as we continue our adventure with possibly the MOST exciting day for any Disney fan as we transfer over to Disneyland for the remainder of the adventure!! ❤️ #AdventuresByDisney #Disneyland #Hollywood 👉 Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and follow along as we continue with more Disney adventures!
