Seeing the glaciers is one of the highlights of an Alaska cruise! And when going northbound or southbound you get not one, but two glacier days!! On our first sea day we sail through Yakutat Bay to see Hubbard Glacier, the largest in all of North America!! This was a great day because I had never been here before so it was a unique experience. Also, the ship had a Polar Plunge on the outside pool deck which was fun!! The following day, we were in Glacier Bay National Park. I just love it here and is always one of my favorite days of the cruise!! When sailing with Holland America, they serve Dutch pea soup while viewing the glaciers!
