"Arcadia" & "Azura" depart from Southampton - 05/11/2012

November 5th for most means bonfire night. But for P&O Cruises, it meant that two of its ships were in Southampton Docks together Monday 5th November 2012 with "Arcadia" at the 'Mayflower' Terminal and "Azura" at the 'Ocean' Terminal. Both ships were scheduled to depart at 16:30. "Arcadia" was the first to cast off (despite "Azura's" radar having already been turning long before 15:30) at around 16:37 - eight minutes late. She sounded her horn as she moved away from the dock and did so again as she passed the Town Quay, saluting "Azura", who sounded her own horn in reply. "Azura" left fifty minutes late having done her Muster Drill at 17:00 after "Arcadia" had passed and then finally departed at 17:20.
