Creator's Key Takeaways

The modern rolling stock features a fantastic firstass carriage laid out in a spacious 21 configuration. The only catch is I couldn't reserve our seats.

The sleeper pods, or mini cabins, as Nightjet calls them. For solo travelers or anyone looking for a more affordable sleeper option, these are revolutionary.

Whether I'm on board a train or on a luxury cruise, being able to run my business on the move has been seamless thanks to ODU.

Get started with Odoo today - https://www.odoo.com/r/y4Sm Today, I’m travelling 3,500 miles from the Arctic Circle to Africa - by sleeper train! I’ll begin in snowy Kiruna aboard SJ’s Arctic sleeper before heading south through Europe, connecting onto a variety of unique and very special trains. From the new DSB Talgo and Austria’s next generation Nightjet, featuring private sleeper pods, to the Glacier Express in Excellence Class through the Swiss Alps. I’ll also try Italy’s new generation Frecciarossa 1000, and even experience an entire passenger train being shunted directly onto a ferry to cross the sea! Expect panoramic Alpine views, some incredible onboard dining and several nights that don’t quite go according to plan. From the good to the bad, and occasionally the downright ugly. This is what it’s really like to travel from the Arctic to Africa by sleeper train. The complete route: Kiruna → Stockholm → Copenhagen → Hamburg → Innsbruck → Buchs → St Moritz → Brig → Milan → Rome → Messina → Palermo → Tunis I hope you enjoy watching! This was quite the challenge to film - and incredibly complicated to plan, ensuring every connection lined up along the way. Do let me know which train was your favourite! A special shoutout to my friend Mike from Downie Live, whose epic overland adventures helped inspire me to take on this journey! 0:00 – Intro 1:04 – Arctic Circle Sleeper 8:04 – Next Generation Nightjet 14:39 – Glacier Express 20:35 – Frecciarossa 1000 23:03 – Sleeper Train Boards Ferry 31:52 – Journey Cost
