Creator's Key Takeaways
So, there is a lot to do within walking distance of the ship here in Aruba. Plenty to do.
It's a short walk, as you can see, a short walk from the from the ship, but that's where you would go.
If you're if you're hot and you want to jump in the beach real quick, the ocean real quick, and you don't want to, you know, book an excursion or go through all that, it is a very quick walk right from the ship to Governor's Beach.

About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Descriptionβ
Join me for a walk from the cruise ship to downtown Oranjestad, Aruba. I"ll take you from the ship, thru the gauntlet of merchants right at the port, along L.G. Smith Blvd to the main shopping district pointing out things like the marina, Renaissance Marketplace, shops and restaurants, Princess Wilhelmina Park, Governor's Beach, and ending at the Renaissance resort. All of these spots are within walking distance from the ship and for great places to visit if you're looking to just walk around on your port day. Side note, this video was taken from my Ray Ban Meta Glasses and during a few parts the brim of my hat got in part of the video. Hey, it was a hot, sunny day! FYI - commentary is unfiltered.
