Azamara Journey departs New York 4/10/2012

This is a photo montage from the departure of the Azamara Journey which is now on her Titanic 100 year mark cruise , the ship departed at 5pm EST on 4/10/2012 enroute to the wreck if the famous ocean liner Titanic which sank 100 years ago , it will be a very somber moment for all. As we see some of the passengers were dressed in vintage 1900s style clothing in celebration of this once in a lifetime voyage. The Azamara Journey (ex R Six, ex Blue Dream) , carrying over 440 passengers left New York City yesterday afternoon at approximately 5:00PM EST (100 years to the day after RMS Titanic departed Southampton, England, on her fateful voyage.) to set voyage to the very spot in North Atlantic Ocean where the Titanic sunk and more than over 1,500 victims are buried. The ship is scheduled to return to New York City after and eight day voyage. The Azamara journey plans to rendezvous with the Balmoral at the exact spot of the sinking , The Balmoral is reenacting the exact route of the doomed ocean liner and is carrying ancestors of the survivors of Titanic.
