I’m catching you up while making a simple family-friendly picnic (think ham & cream cheese sandwiches for the kids and a healthy salad for me and Ryan 🥗). We strolled down to the city with all three kids (Nancy had a friend staying over!) and were honestly shocked by just how packed the beaches were! We arrived around 7pm to claim a spot and it was already crowded… by 9pm, there was barely any sand left to see! TOP TIP: If you’re visiting Cannes for Bastille Day fireworks - get to the beach early! Once you’re settled, it’s hard to move, so pack everything you need and be prepared to stay put until the show. Despite the chaos, the atmosphere was electric and the firework display itself… absolutely breathtaking 🎆✨ It was such a special night for all of us and a real taste of French Riviera summer life.
