Beating Stage 3 Endometrial Cancer: Shari's Story

This video documents Shari's unexpected journey with stage 3, grade 3 endometrial cancer. From the initial symptoms and misdiagnosis to a life-changing tumor discovery at Disney World, this is our family's story of facing the unthinkable with hope and a commitment to living life to the fullest. Join us as we follow Shari through a hysterectomy, six rounds of chemotherapy, and grueling radiation treatments. But this isn't just a cancer story. It's a story of family, joy, and unforgettable moments, from family cruises and theme park adventures to the incredible honor of her throwing the first pitch at a Fredericksburg Nationals' Cancer Awareness Night. This journey has been the toughest fight of Shari's life, but it has also been filled with so much love and so many moments of pure joy. She is now NED (No Evidence of Disease) and continuing with immunotherapy. Our hope is that by sharing her story, we can raise awareness and offer encouragement to others who are impacted by cancer.
