We have seen massive houses and castles in Europe, but today we are visiting the largest home in the USA! Biltmore Estate was built in the late 1800's by the Vanderbilt family as a summer entertaining home. It is quite spectacular! But before we visit the house itself, we take in the grounds which include and entire village!! Within in village are hotels, restaurants... and a full winery... that provides a complimentary tasting of 5 different wines of your choosing. This was an incredible experience! While staying in Asheville, NC, we found a great campground and decided to spend a few extra days just relaxing around the lakes and the river that runs right through the Asheville East KOA.
