"Boudicca", "Adonia", "Adventure OTS", "Oriana" & "QM2" in Southampton - 04/11/2013

The second of three busy days in Southampton Docks with five cruise ships in the port. P&O Cruises' "Adonia" & "Oriana" were joined by Cunard's "Queen Mary 2", Royal Caribbean International's "Adventure of the Seas" & Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Boudicca". The first ship to depart was "Boudicca" from Berth 102 at 11:30 heading for Bremerhaven where she will undergo some repairs to her propulsion and rudder. She was originally meant to depart at 10:30 but was delayed by the arrival of the container ship "OOCL Kaohsiung". Later in the evening came the time for the remaining ships to leave. The first to go was "Adonia" from the 'Mayflower' Terminal at 16:16 heading on an 18-Night Central Mediterranean cruise with the first Port of Call being Tangier. She was followed by "Adventure of the Seas" from the 'City' Terminal at 16:41 heading on an 13-Night Ocean Voyage To The Caribbean with the first Port of Call being Funchal, Madeira. This was her last visit to Southampton until her return in May 2014. Following on from "Adventure of the Seas" was "Oriana" from the 'Ocean' Terminal at 16:56 heading on an 12-Night Western Mediterranean cruise with the first Port of Call being Lisbon. Finally, "Queen Mary 2" departed from the 'QEII' Terminal at 17:21 and came up to turn by the Town Quay before heading off to Hamburg. Viewed from Town Quay.
