In December 2022, Steve and I went on an Antarctica cruise onboard Le Boréal of PONANT. In this fourth episode of the Antarctica cruise video series, covering the end of day 5, and the whole of day 6, we will continue to show our time in Antarctica. First, we had Lemaire channel scenic cruising. Supposedly one of the highlights of Antarctica cruising, with steep cliffs on both sides hemming in the 11-kilometre long iceberg-filled passage, the ferocious wind and low visibility meant it was a challenge to enjoy it. On day 6, we started off with a landing at Danco Island. The weather was cold, and a bit snowy, but still we saw lots of penguins, and we even saw some of them mating. In the afternoon, we had zodiac cruising at Wilhemia Bay, but heavy snow again made this really difficult to enjoy. We had a nice dinner at the end of day 6, and I will show the highlights of it.
