#shorts Once again, Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas changes it’s inaugural sailing. Previously scheduled for July 3rd 2021, the first sailing will now be July 31st, 2021. Crew members tested positive for COVID-19, so they need time to take all of the necessary precautions. Guests on these canceled sailings have the choice of taking a future Cruise credit, full refund, lift and shift to a sailing next year, or a modified lift and shift to a sailing this year. The tricky part is that the new July 31st inaugural sailing, as well as the first sailing in August, are closed for booking due to passengers on canceled Independence of the Seas sailings being moved into these Odyssey sailings.
